Awesome Audition - Fighting Gravity, America's Got Talent

An awesome dance group who experiment with new ways of awesomeness

 The blacklight dance group that auditioned on America's Got Talent caught my eye. The creative dance and talent was just incredible (there are people dressed in black so that you cant see them and they effectively lift up and move objects including the people that you can see). By performing in the dark Fighting gravity can defy physics. It is awesome stuff with some great performances - especially the skateboarding performance. 

 They reached the America's Got Talent finals 2010 and came 3rd overall. The other acts in the top 4 were all singers, and the winner was Michael Grimm. You can catch them on the TV this month on ITV 2 when America's Got Talent is on.

Chelsea FC vs Giant Space Invaders

 

A fun footballing advert for Bet188 on the ChelseaTV channel.

The Chelsea Football Club try to beat the giant space invaders on a large interactive wall by kicking the ball to defeat each space invader before the warehouse collapses. Each of the four players - Anelka, Luiz, Ferreira and Ivanovic - aim to get the highest score then the winning player fights the boss.It looks like a lot of fun with a neat £1,500 prize for the winners chosen charity!

 Unless you haven't heard of it until know, you probably know that Firebox.com has some really cool stuff. So being a website that finds all the really cool stuff and shares it, I found this scientific microscope attachment to the iPhone.

You can find it here on Amazon UK for £23 and check regularly for price cuts, there has been a claim it has been down to $15 on Amazon US!

  Artpad is a simple and creative app that lets you create your own artwork using the library of stock shapes,backgrounds and other features.

It is so easy to create a cool piece of art by using the simple range of tools that adjust colour tint, brightness, transparency etc. and add text or characters to it.

 There are lots of pre downloaded objects under categories such as character design, shapes, spike world, backgrounds/patterns and grunge. You can get some free art supplies and there will be more added in future updates as said on the AppStore.

 There are a few examples below and I will post some occasionally. I uploaded them by the simple send to email button, but you could also easily upload to twitter,facebook and save it to your iDevice after you save the artpad.

I rate it a very good 9/10

New Cadbury Advert

The new cadbury's advert released today (6/5/11) sets it's scene in a charity shop. Dancing jackets and trousers come alive and dance to Jermaine Stewart's hit single 'We don't have to take our clothes off'.
